About Open Gardens 2018

2018 was the tenth Letchworth Open Gardens.  The event started in 2002 and has been held every two years, in which time we have raised over £30,000 for local and national charities, from the price of the tickets and plant and refreshment sales in the gardens.
A further £7,800 plus was raised this year.

You are invited to tour as many or as few of the twenty-six gardens as you wish; they are described on this website and in the programme which also acts as the entry ticket.  There will be a free minibus service between all the gardens every 20 to 30 minutes.

Programmes are available in advance, for £6, from the beginning of May from
Letchworth Tourist Information Centre, Station Road
David’s Bookshop, Eastcheap
or for £7 on the day of the event from any garden.

If you were unable to come, or did not manage to visit all the gardens we will be open again in June 2020.

Refreshments are being offered at ten gardens, identified on the Gardens page.
These will be tea & cakes unless otherwise indicated.

The proceeds from the 2018 Letchworth Open Gardens will be divided between the following Charities:

British Red Cross

Garden House Hospice
